    It's the mods and the multiplayer servers that even keep it going. I don't think Microsoft will understand that, especially when Mojang has made it pretty difficult for modders already.


    I wish the current modders would jump ship to one of the open source clones.

    I might be guilty of not thinking ahead enough, but I'm not seeing the logic of Microsoft buying it up. If they are wanting to do this wooing of serious game players as the article said, Minecraft is not the place I would personally be looking first. And that is an awful lot of money being spent on a game, especially that type of a game. I believe these fans are right to be a little jittery about it because it makes sense that Microsoft would turn it into a game that only runs on their devices.
