    Well
Had some time on my hands today so went ahead and invoked the MLSC on a spare box

    Did the full scan
    No Viruses/Malware
    Disc pretty clean

752 Registry errors over the categories!!

    More than regseeker finds.

Did a sysrestore, Erunt and let it clean

So far all going well will reboot soon.

Any body else given it a burn?

    Regards.

    Uh Oh

Rebooted and chaos ensued; boot sequence going well and quickly until wall paper up then prior to any apps or desktop items or taskbar appearing:

rebooted itself and continued this cycle several times until I interupted:

Safe mode system restore/Erunt and back to normal.

Lesson learnt: MLSC regcleaner not safe on automatic !!
Interesting that on the "pitch" page MS goes on at some length about how importany it is to keep the registry clean.

Not sure how many here find that to be the case.

    Regards
