I converted a few images to Microsoft Virtual PC. Then I tried to run it using MS Virtual PC 2007. The VM starts, comes up with Windows 2003 screen and then crashes with a blue screen that is up for such a short time that I can't see why is crashing.
    Any ideas?

    Hello mizer ajkula,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Corporate Disk Backup Software.

Please make sure you use the latest build of both the respective version of Acronis True Image and Acronis Universal Restore. To get access to updates you should first register your software. Don't forget to update all installed components as they need to be the same build in order to interact properly.

If the issue persists, could you please clarify, what version of Acronis True Image are you using? You can find the full version name and build number by going to Help -> About... menu in the main program window.

    Thank you.

Do you have any documentation about how virtual hard drive that was extracted from Acronis image can be ran on a different computer?
What I'm trying to do is to copy a virtual hard drive to another computer and run it there using Virtual PC 2007. I was told that I need to strip HAL from the native client and then apply it to the virtual hard drive, or it will not work otherwise.
Does Acronis have any procedure in place for a scenario like this one?

    Thank you.
