    It reamins to be seen because these type apps demand intense laboratory efforts and incredible amounts of time thru trial and error, thats why HIPS is the buffer to fill in gaps left in these type scanners which incorporate AV's and whatever.

    It's like taking matters to the extreme, XP still commands the populations of PC users and thats not likely to change for a very long time.

    One of the first priorities of marketing is that you have to keep dangling the meat in front of the audience. Everything will be better, new super AV engine, new and innovative heuristics, etc. Makes for sales down the road.

    Logical isn´t it? Vista is a matchless barrier and brake, this might be tolerated (and a kind of challenge) by us geeks but not by the average population.

    The discussion almost diverged into the original topic subject matter's career moves (and other things relating to that). So it slightly shifted into a personal opinion on that matter. It was all a misunderstanding. For clarity, I would go back to the beginning and reread all of the posts over again. :ninja:
