Well, MeWe knows your IP address, and you need to trust them about their claims.

I wonder if MeWe allows connections via Tor.

Can someone perhaps post any screen-shots of the interface? It might have potential if it runs faster than crappy Facebook. The privacy stuff is a bonus, but I care more about speed.

A private social network is a contradiction in terms. The more that you try to have it both ways, the more you end up with a compromise that gives you neither.

    @ ahaha

I see what you mean ! But by the sound of it, it will be more "generally" private than fb etc.

It'd be cool if there was a migrate from fb tool. Without providing one more iota of data to fb.

Start as a little splinter then after a few years an olympic size pool filled with lost fb profits a bright bright red color.

OK, so it's cool with an email address, without a mobile number. But then, Facebook signup via their onion also needs no mobile number.

And But like Facebook, it wants my contact list. But both allow skipping.

But whatever, now I'm there, as Vladimir Arseniev :)

    Anyone else? Please say "hi".
