He is a legend, an anti-spyware specialist who was behind HiJackThis. He also wrote CWShredder.

I am an avid user of MAM, and this is wonderful news. (If it's true)

Maybe, but I sincerely doubt that that's what they hired him for. "HijackThis" isn't a behavior blocker program. AFAIK, Merjin is not an expert in developing behavior blockers.

    Wow
    That is interesting news.
Nice catch for the rubber duck and team.
    Merijn was/is a legendary figure.

I always wondered what had become of him.
    No doubt busy some where.
HJT -still- one of the bulwarks for malware detection, obviously some ;eh; "development" of malware since HJT sold to Trend, ( and dev seemed to have ceased :cautious: ) , realistically maybe some better tools now, but I don't doubt that MB is still interested and will be a very effective addition to MBAM.
The news of MB joining MBAM has been reported at almost every 'security' site I can see, and gathered many comments of interest and support.

Now if he could just fix MS's holes
