Hello all, I have seen post on other forums where the ekrn.exe file stays around 5-6megs and the egui stays around 1.5 megs of memory usage. However, mine stay around 35 megs and 6 megs. Is this common? if not can someone suggest what I may try to lower usage. Thanks in advance....

That's about normal for me. I'm sure there may be a way to get it down a bit but since it's still beta I'm not too concerned yet... it just irks me that people are bashing it cause it's got a higher footprint than 2.7.... of course it will... it's three things in one!

Mine is around 24 Meg on the kernel and 1.8 on the GUI... Outpost alone takes around 30 Meg so comparatively this is smaller...

Good enough, I just wanted to make sure I didn't have something odd
going on on my system. So far everything seems too work great. I have
been a long time NOD32 user and love it. There is nothing better in my
opinion. Also, normally I wouldn't want a all in one app but since it is
coming from Eset I am giving it a try and so far I like what I am
    seeing.
    Thanks for the info.
