McAfee Hiccup

    McAfee updated the AV a day or two ago, and now the scan gets stuck and or slows to a crawl when it reaches "Number of items scanned 79" or 80/81.

    I wonder how long before they issue another update to fix this.

    It also keeps finding "univ.script/99a" which is labeled a virus. It appears to be part of the CyberHawk service (yes, I never went to Threatfire as the last version of CyberHawk was very stable and seemed good to me).

    I would look through their site sometimes their updates scew things up. I had one that caused a bunch of crashes once and then one that found a ton of false positives. Usually they correct it in the next patch or update.
