McAfee help forums hijacked?

Can't get onto the site now but I grabbed a screenshot before it was taken down. I would paste an image here but there only seems to be a facility to post web images.

Anyway at the top of the page there is a banner for SYMBIANWAREZ.COM followed by the message FTS which is an abbreviation of an offensive message. Anybody have any idea what's going on? I can mail the screenshot if someone else knows how to put it up here, assuming it will be allowed.

If McAfee Forums had messages like that then I must say there is something wrong...possible hijack. Maybe they've got a mole in their staff?

I think the fact the site has gone down indicates something is wrong. I can't imagine that McAfee would have a banner for another site followed by FTS (**** the system).

I went on there because I'm concerned about the possibility that my AV might have been disabled or compromised by a worm or trojan. Not much chance of getting any answers any time soon by the looks of it.

Maybe you should post a new thread right here at Wilders...

Wait, wasn't the forum running phpBB2? I'm guessing they didn't update. Though the forum is useful, I wish there was actual McAfee staff visiting that board instead of just volunteers only.

Man, it doesn't look great when a website dedicated to internet security gets hacked :p

It is a 24 hour Customer Service Portal for the Mcafee forum, the Mcafee knowledge base, Mcafee online chat help. Although it does not provide support only to Mcafee. Sento has many other clients. Please click the link below for more specific information:
