MBR and partition when is it ready

    Dear TI.

    When will it be possible to make only one partition backup including MBR??

    Hello flems,

    Thank you for your interest in Acronis Online Backup Software.

    This feature is being currently developed and we expect it to be implemented in future versions of Acronis True Image. At present you may create the image of the whole disk and delete unnecessary partitions after the restoration.

    I'm truly confused here. My C-drive consists of only one partition and when I create a .tib image I'm making a one partition backup including the MBR (at least I hope so)! :eek:

    Hello pvsurfer,

    Thank you for using Acronis Emergency Backup Software.

    Of course, if you have only one partition on your hard disk, there is no difference between an image of the whole disk and an image of a single partition. In your case the MBR is included in the image.
