Having removed the 'Acronis Disk Director Suite' from my PC I am left with a slightly annoying error message each time I reboot my PC.
The PC is dual-boot with O/S XP & Vista, the "MB2 error" is reported immediately before the menu that allows me to choose which O/S I wish to use.

Anyone got any ideas for a cure?

    Is OSS also uninstalled?

Are you using Vista's boot manager now?

If so, you should be able to fix the problem by repairing the MBR. You can do this by booting to the Vista DVD, entering the Repair Mode, starting the Command Prompt and running the following command (<ENTER> means to press the ENTER key):
    Code:
    bootrec /fixmbr

That was most helpful and appears to have done the trick.

    Thank you so much!
