Maybe there should be a reward for every 1,000 posts...

I was embarassed coz my posts was just below 1,000 while others are more than 2,000 already some 5,000 while BigC is already more than 19,000.

How about if wilders gives rewards for every members that got their posts or for every 1,000 posts they've made...?

I know your idea comes from a good place - but I don't think of it as a competition.

When a congrats thread comes up .......... I post because I feel that the regular posters, particularly the established members have managed to create a really well balanced, informative & welcoming atmosphere at Wilders - and I know it didn't happen overnight. So I'm happy to recognise that and the 1,000 post milestones are as practical a point as any.

Why being embarassed about it ?

On our new forum we had a discussion with some who found it inacceptable to loose their previous post statistics.
I replied that I didn't care about how many posts I had previously.
It's not the number that counts, but making friends, learning and having fun.

When someone gets congrats for his total of posts, it's not because he/she made it. It's because you respect that individual and also what you learned by reading his/her posts. Whether that be for having a good laugh, learning new stuff or helping you or others out or just having fun.

Yep, if you want a Gmail account I still have lots to give away.
