    Hi,

I'm trying to upgrade a TS box from 2.7 to v3.x. However the 3.x installer is complaining that it cant uninstall the old version and I have to do it manually.

However, the old version isnt showing in the add/remove list and neither is there a program group for it :S

Is there a guide on how to manually uninstall it ?

    Olly

Hi there, please try the following:

    1. Download and SAVE a FRESH copy of NOD32 v2.7 from http://www.eset.com/download/registered_software.php

    2. Download and SAVE a FRESH copy of ESET NOD32 Antivirus 3.0 or ESET Smart Security 3.0 (this is dependant upon your license) from http://www.eset.com/download/registered_software.php

    3. Install NOD32 v2.7 that you downloaded above using “Typical Settings”.

    4. Reboot the computer.

    5. Uninstall NOD32 v2.7 through the Windows Control Panel> Add or Remove Programs.

    6. Reboot the computer.

    7. Install ESET NOD32 Antivirus 3.0 or ESET Smart Security 3.0 that you downloaded above using “Typical Settings”.

Let su know how you go...

    Cheers :D

Doesn't Winsock have to be reset manually after the 2.7 uninstall?
