Manual AntiVir updating?

I noticed that you can manually download VDF update package for AntiVir (main webpage),but i don't have any idea on where to put it. Any ideas?
The auto-update thing is slow like crap. Its a miracle when the thing actually moves...

 

If I try to update when it's daytime in Europe, I get the same problem as you. AVPE's servers are very busy & very slow. I don't know a solution, but I do know a work-around.

Namely, I always update AV-PE manually between 1AM and 4AM, Berlin/Slovenia time. AVPE's servers are very fast during those hours. I just click on the 2computers-icon on AVPE's GUI & then hit Start on the updater. Works good for me because I live in Hawaii (we are in daytime when Europe is in nighttime). Since you live in Slovenia, my work-around might be less *pleasant* for you.
