I actually only today just started up my copy of Window 7 on this box (I've been using Ubuntu for about 2 months now) as I wanted to game a bit, but I figured first I'd update all my security software, so I wnt to launch malwarebytes and I get:

    "Run-time error: 0"

    and then

    "Run-time error 440: Automation error"

any clue as to what happened? I only just BOOTED this partition for the first time in 2 months.

I ended up just fixing it by reinstalling it. I thought maybe at first I had some sort of malware some how (despite having not booted Windows for 2 months) but I scanned my PC from within windows and then again with bitdefender and avast on linux, and nothing, so everythings working now.
