    That's awesome and generous too. Hopefully the new resources will increase the development speed at which ES matures.

    Does it not work currently with SBIE? What issues are you noticing Sampei?

    This is good news, IMO. ES has so much potential as an app., but it probably started becoming apparent that it was a bit much for 1 man to handle. One wonders how Tzuk manages... the guy is a machine.

    Now the necessary resources will be there to get the ball rolling, and we can expect a final/stable build sooner instead of later. And a more polished product than it otherwise would have been. If you're gonna sell out (not meant in a derogatory way), do it to a reputable, trustworthy company. I'm glad someone else didn't get their claws into this instead and ruin it. I trust it's in good hands.

    This seems a mutually beneficial collab on both ends.

    It would be cool to see a product combining the full version of (the artist formerly known as) ES, and MBAM Free (on demand scanner only). I would pay for that. Like after it finds an exploit it could recommend you do a full scan of your system? But no real-time AV components otherwise. Maybe dub it "MBAM Anti-Exploit Lite", or something? And then have a full version as well, combining MBAM Pro and ES full. Or just keep them all separate and stand alone, that's fine. I just think a "Lite" version would be really cool, and useful. A perfect candidate to round out the top line of my sig...

    Is there any way to test this program to see if it's working?

    Well, well, well. I just went to run Internet Explorer 64-bit (which I almost never use as I use Chrome)and I get a big popup from ExploitShield that an exploit was blocked.

    IE refuses to run, and each time I try, more blocked exploit attempts show up in ES's GUI.

    False positive I believe. I ran it again without ES enabled and nothing strange happened. My computer is still clean, I wasn't redirected to other sites or anything. The IE executable was 0/42 on VirusTotal. Also, no file has or file path given in ES.

    Seems like forever seeing you post again over here. Congrats on the progression of this and thanks for the years of research and especially useful releases then and now.

    To ZVL (and now, to the MalwareBytes crew):

    I had been in touch with you months ago, about a problem I was having then with ExploitShield blocking me from opening attachments in Lotus Notes iMail 8.5.2 , the problem being related to dwa85W.dll . [I realize this is probably an old version of Lotus iMail, but that's what's installed at work, so I have no control over updating to a newer version.] The last I heard, I thought you were close to fixing it... but the problem remains in the MalwareBytes version 0.9.2.1000 I tested yesterday.

    In addition, I encountered the problems reported by a few others here that MB Anti-Exploit blocked IE 10 from opening, and that Anti-Exploit didn't seem to be starting-up automatically [or perhaps it was just that the icon didn't appear in the taskbar ?]. Windows 7 Pro x64 SP1, with Panda Cloud AV. I can give you additional specs, if you feel they'd be helpful.

    You got me fooled for a moment. I mean, for instance posts #43, #44, etc are all above post #42 (yours). :D

  22. Still 0.9.2.1000, ETA of 0.9.2.1100 is . . . ?

    I install the latest version ( 0.9.2.1000 ) and this time I cannot open IE10(64-bit). Blocked exploit attempts show up in AE's GUI. Previous version ( 0.9.1 ). worked fine.
    OS= Windows 7 64.

    Still being QA'ed and we hope to release it either today or Monday at the latest. We delayed it a bit since we fixed the FP with IE10 as well.
