Strange. On Firefox 41.0.1, the Free download link does not save the file to a folder, yet on IE10, the download to a folder works. :cautious:

I used FF 41.0.1 and saved the .exe to my Downloads folder.

I downloaded while it was still beta though.

I still can't download the Free version anywhere on their site with FF 41.0.1. And while malwarebytes.org is allowed in both AdBlock Plus and NoScript, even disabling them, does not result in a download. Weird.

Nope, not for me. I'll have to dig a little deeper to find out why, but it's a low priority since I can get it via IE10. Thanks!

The direct links do work in Firefox 41.0.1, and my Hosts file is very sparse (3 domains only) so I know that's not it. And as far as my AV, MSE, I can download them from the Malwarebytes site via IE10 without an issue; that's not it either.

Something is preventing the Free download only in FF, and I'll find out why in the next few days. Thanks!

Now that's weird! Any script blocking in that Chrome, and if so, any lists?

I use ABP lists but as I said, I can download with Chrome, but I can't with Firefox now.

Update all your ABP Filter Subscriptions in Chrome, and try again. Maybe something has been added to one of the filters.

    Dang!

I checked and my ABP filters were only updated earlier today because I rarely use Chrome and you're right! After updating all ABP filters my link does not download the file now in Chrome either.

I just tried disabling ABP and still can't download. I also have Ghostery in all browsers so maybe that is interfering?

Wow! This link is working in Chrome - https://www.malwarebytes.org/ - for now anyway.

Yes, in IE11 (EasyList Standard, EasyPrivacy, Malware Domains, Peter Lowe's Ad Servers).
With Edge, you can't use TPL.

In IE11, TPL deactivated and MBAM link tested once again. Same story: no download.

OK, fired up my Chrome Portable version 45.0.2454.101, and updated all my ABP+ Lists.

I can download from everywhere on their site! o_O

Maybe MBAM are throttling downloads of the new version?

    Thanks for checking anon! :thumb:

Krusty13, maybe. I'll guess we'll have to wait a few days to see if the issue still exists. Thanks for checking though! :thumb:

    You're welcome, JR.

I wonder if it's worth posting on their forums about it?

If you are signed in, I don't see why not, and you could reference this discussion. However, I'm sure they are lurking here. ;)
