One thing I like about MBAM is that they don't busy themselves cranking out needless improvements. They constantly make their product better for real, not for show. ;)

Im happy to have paid for a lifetime license. Where are those people who always complain that lifetime license products are never good and always get abandoned?

yeah, I bought myself Outpost FW Pro and MBAM Pro. I run the two of them along each other. Basically for $60 I got a pretty good set up and no more annoying yearly renewal fees. Free basic MSE and Im golden.

Thanks. Other thing is, MBAM's betas often seem to be darn near ready for prime time, just like Tzuk's. Not being overly anxious nor willing to run betas myself, Tzuk's are the one exception for me. I could probably add MBAM to that short list without experiencing much trouble.

I've slowly been getting licenses / paid software.

MBAM was the first, followed by Sandboxie and Webroot SA AV.

Does MBAR not work w/ encrypted systems? I figured for drivers only it would still be able to scan...

Been using it, no problems of course. Like the blue; it goes with AppGuard and Online Armor, lol.

It's running well here. I would just like to see a gaming mode that suspends alerts, automatic scans, etc., while playing a game. As it is, the easiest thing is just to shut down MBAM, but I can forget to do that (and get aggravated when it kicks me out of a game) or forget to turn it back on.

Any idea when this is going to be formally released, most seem to think it is pretty close to perfection already

That would among others be me.

However i don't think any of "us" says it's never good, what most in that category think is that it is foolish to think anything is lifetime in security software because there is only ever going to so many that will pay even just the very reasonable $19.95 for MBAM, subscription will come into play one day just like they did with SAS.

There is nothing wrong with that, but you're kind of shooting yourself in the foot because even though SAS still to this day honors the lifetime licenses (as well as still offering a free version just like MBAM), just look at all the bad publicity they have gotten from only that IMO obvious/reasonable change, better IMO to simply charge a low yearly subscription ($5-10 after first year) for those who want the extra's of pro versions from the start. It's a better model for continued improvement since the number of employees is probably never going to drop, only increase with the malware flod as well as yet more sophisticated malware in mind.

I own licenses to both btw and feel i have gotten much more than my moneys worth and would certainly pay for a subscription. :)
