I have the free version installed and it updated to the new version beautifully. This seems like a very good program. I think before long SAS will have itself a very tough competitor. I like the GUI and I hear the System Tray Icon is nice.

Been trying to access MB webpage for several days, but I keep getting errors. Anyone else experiencing this, or should I look for a solution on my end?

    Hi,

Indeed, a program with full steam and an ability to swim upstream.
Still awaiting its incentive to try full version, until then, the glass is just half full. (IMO, it is better than some half-empty applications--losing grip and air).

Yeah......I'm going to need you to go ahead and quit doing that. If you could do that for me that would be grrreeatt.

You're taking your metaphors too far.

Hi, not much a substance in my wishful thinking, perhaps.

But sometimes, a single user's voice may speak a good VOLUME, unless the developer does not have a good ears. What do you think ?

BTW, I could not help notice you bear MBAW's symbol. Is your doing so similar to my wearing jacket with BLUE JAYS's logo on the back ? or is it a employee's ID ? Have a nice day !

Can't seem to find the free version. How do I get it ? Is the difference
between free and paid real time scanning only - or are there other
    limitations ?

    Look at my previous post.

Real-time protection, auto updates, and scheduled scanning. A screenshot was provided was n8chavez above.

Thanks for that. I wasn't sure because MG description is 'Shareware' - however it is freeware as you rightly pointed out. Works smoothly, but
a pity that one can't check the real-time feature with this version.

Just a thought, but sometimes we miss including a minor item in the url, like a period, or mistakenly put a comma where a period should be and we don't notice it. This results in the url not working.

That was intended to be a jobe. Have you ever seen the movie Office Space?

Also, you might have better luck getting the developer(s) to listen to you here at their forum.

No, no, not at all. I'm just a fan. I change my avatar every once and a while. Although, if I was to advocate one product over any other it would be Sandboxie (or DefenseWall).

    Hello,
would you need both rouge remove pro and antimalware? or does antimalware remove the rouge programs as well?

MBAM removes rogue programs. I see no need for both of them to be used at the same time.

It's a pity (or shame) that the try out version is crippled. I have doubts that this program does a better job than SuperAntiSpyware Pro. Can an owner of MBAM say something to this point?

I see several security forums that specialize in malware removal using Malwarebytes. I haven't conducted a net-wide study or anything, but take a look at Gladiator, MajorGeeks and BBR forums. They must have chosen it for a reason.

Maybe not better than SAS yet, but MBAM will grow and grow.
The very first time, I used Spybot S&D, it had a signature database of less than 10,000 and now it counts more than 150,000.
All these signature databases get fatter and fatter every day until they explode. :)
