1.08.1.2572 is the ONLY release that would run on my 64bit Win10 Anniversary-updated systems. The latest beta and the previous ga-release would not initialize after the OS upgrade.

this new version as I mentioned now will let IE open but it seems to crash a lot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    1.09.1.1142

and so still has issues. I guess since I pay the yearly subscription I should stop using betas. the only reward is a personal one

when installing got high cpu usage from appguard an it did not stop until I rebooted.
most likely another hook issue between the programs. I think what now is happening is security software are fighting battles for hooks and they are not compatible. that is a no no in my observations.
so that leaves us with picking only a few products.

    MBAE Premium 1.09.1.1156 - Windows 7 SP1 x64

I can't close any shielded program individually without an intervening "has stopped working" dialogue. If I have all shielded programs open, selecting Stop Protection, all programs attempt to close with an "has stopped working" dialogue opening for each one having to be close one at a time.

    Reversion to 1142 fixes.

I can't get my head around this so would appreciate a little help.:) If I'm running Chrome and keeping it up to date using PatchmyPC (runs every night) do I need this and why? I would appreciate an example of what MBAE does to stop a nasty. Thanks. From what I have read I think this program is suited to people who don't keep their programs up to date, but I'm not sure.

Well, anti-exploit programs like MBAE and HMP.A protect browsers against unknown, unpatched exploits.
