I personally do as I find it too slow and noisy - that opinion of mine won't change. :)

slow is normally because of bad graphics drivers.
if software isnt written properly it will trigger to many UAC prompts. the solution is to replace the software or ask the company to make it more UAC compliant.
everyone should just get used to it.
the reason users disable it is because they are used to a very open but very unsecure system. Microsoft finally sorts outs the issue and people complain its to noisy?

if i had listened to the genral user reports i probably wouldn't even of brought vista and brought xp instead for my current pc.
im glad i ignored that and purchased it anyway. i have used vista for ages and have got used to UAC. if i use the standard run at login setting for ccleaner i get a uac prompt at every login. I found a way around it so i dont get the uac prompt without having to turn off UAC.

if you was using linux would you find sudo to noisy and login as root?

And use either Tweak UAC or Norton's UAC tool; this will make it a LOT less noisy.

Haha, "used to". :D No offence, man. ;)

Yes, I might use Norton UAC or something when/if it's Windows 7 compliant. :)

    Hello andyman35,
type "task scheduler"in to the search box on the start menu. right click run it as administrator and accept uac prompt.
    create a basic task.
use the option run as login.
    browse to the ccleaner.exe
in the arguments box type /auto
at the end of the wizard make sure the box is ticked to show the more advanced settings then click on ok.
tick the box that says run with highest settings.
you can tick the box that says dont remember username and password or simply type in a username and password for an account that has admin rights.
it will run at login and no window will show.
