yes you can use because gateway av is on astaro/unstangle itself (ie inside the gateway)

so using another AV will not be problem i my self use KIS on my laptop and desktop of windows for local scanning protection

one more thing if you want full system behind the av you have to use transparent mode because gateway AV works as proxy server so in transparent mode every thing come go out of proxy server or if you want just to use av content filter ....etc only for your browser ......then you have set it to standard proxy(give in Global HTTP/S settings of astaro).

same thing in untangle av work as proxy server )

please also note that AV on gateway only scan your network traffic in proxy mode going through it ........not your local system
