Malware & DefenseWall ??

    Just got "system progressive protection" bug on my #2PC.

    Here's a link from Emsisoft about it.

    How come its running around the PC? Shouldn't DW have stopped it?

    Issue #2.

    I have Defensewall hips on #1PC & Defensewall hips/FW on #2PC. Currently I am scanning both with OTL scanner. Trouble is #2PC is swamped with Defensewall popups about OTL lurking around the joint. But on #1PC Defenswall hasn't said boo. Not eve as much as "Halt who goes there" to OTL.

    Stop? No. Protect computer from being infected with it? Yes.

    Hi ilya. What about no popups on #1PC while OTL malware scanner was running but on #2PC DW was active questioning OTL?

    Because of FW-part of the protection. It has more options for pop-ups and that's not really good as I would like to see it without pop-ups at all but, unfortunately, it's not possible.
