I suggest you to create different groups with appropriate rules and just put apps in right group. That way you will be avoiding millions of pop ups.
If you don't want to tweak the rules you can put it in learning mode and after a while put it in normal mode...

Does <malware defender> auto-select the correct group for suspicious applications?

For example:
Low restricted group
High restricted group
Fully Untrusted group

 

No, it doesn't. You have to create groups (you can create as many as you like), set their rights and put applications in it.
You have to build rules from scratch or you can use built-in groups (trusted, installers or restricted).

 

I'm waiting for the day they release the x64 version.
Then i might consider it again.
