Had a problem with MailWasher when I just recently got around to trying it out - it wouldn't 'bounce' any emails I marked, even though I had it set up correctly.

Even though I hadn't yet 'donated' for the program, I gave emailing the author a shot and he replied today:

"The good news for you is that MailWasher does work and can bounce with
bellsouth's mail server.  Here's our form response to the problem:
    ------------------------------
If you have MailWasher 1.32.9 or later, the problem may be that the
return-path isn't set in the bounce messages.  Normally bounces, which
don't have a return-path, are only sent by mail servers - not by user
programs.   Some mail servers expect all mail coming in from user programs
to have a return-path.  The latest version - 1.33 beta (on the
www.mailwasher.net site now) can be set up to use the old bounce message if
necessary.  Download and install the 1.33 beta version, and double-click on
the attached file - set-return-path.reg.  Then answer 'yes' to import the
setting into the Windows Registry.  That should fix the bounce problem."

I've applied the provided 'patch' and I'll let y'all know if it works (just in case anyone else's been having the same problem). Pete
