Mail Transfer

    I've decided to leave my dearly beloved 98se behind and have now aquired XP (2 gig Pent 4..40Gig HDD)........I've already transferred everything else over from old to new OS...(I think I may have made hard work of it though) :D ...soooooo, the question is....any ideas as to the quickest and easiest method of transferring my stored mail and addresses now please....

    Provided the email program you used in 98 was fairly common (outlook97/2K/2002 etc, outlook express, netscape communicator, eudora etc) and the one you will be using in XP is decent, there should be no problem importing the mail from 98 to xp.

    Find import in the email client menu you are using on xp, follow the steps.

    I am so glad you have XP now with SYSTEM RESTORE! Just think, no more missing dlls! Hoooray!! :D

    Hey! your right there Ron....didn't even think of that....tch! what a 'nanna'...of course, if i took the time to look what I was doing half the time, I wouldn't lose the little 'DeviLLs' in the first place..... :D :D :D
