When you are editing the backup schema, look in the bottom left hand corner of the SECOND editing panel entitled 'Edit the Plan for this Backup'...you will find the Auto verify on/off option therein.

I have auto-verify on already, but I didn't understand what Froggie said, it sounded like you can choose quick/full verification? I can't see any option to switch between them or even what is on by default.

It's the same verify, used in all the imaging operations.

What I said was the VERIFY operation (same used for all images) was quick when verifying Incrementals and slower when verifying Fulls, just a speed comparison between small and larger images.

Oh, sorry now that you mention it, it's pretty obvious what you meant, my meds are making me a little... confused... sometimes.

Are there any coupon codes still working for Macrium Reflect 6?

Question about the Reflect Free (existing) version 5 and the forthcoming version 6. Can the images be mounted and individual files be copied/restored from those images? I thought that you could do that but just wanted to verify one way or the other.

If I remember correctly you can mount and image and retrieve individual files/folders. If you are using it now, you could try double-clicking on image and see if it mounts it.

Yes, the images may be mounted as virtual volumes. You may then use Windows Explorer to do as you wish.

I went to the paid version this year. So I can't test the free one at this point. I plan to have a friend or 2 use the free one and was asking for that situation.

I've tested it on my free installation and indeed there is an option to explore / browse images. After mounting an image you can use Explorer to get files that you need as TheRollbackFrog suggested.

I wish they would hurry up and release the free version of Reflect 6.
They've been sitting on it for ages.

I have paid for my copies, but I keep getting asked about the free version.

Hadron, I'm not sure what the user would really be looking for in a v6 FREE release. All the new fangled v6 features (Scheduling, Rapid Data Restore, etc.) are not being included according to a Features Comparison chart referenced earlier in this thread... basically the FREE v6 has the same capability as the existing Free v5, which runs very well, BTW.

Once again... you may look at the FEATURES COMPARISON TABLE for MRv6 and decide if it really brings anything more to the REFLECT table than v5 ever did...

I have inspected that when it was posted before, but I can't find "Rapid Delta Clone" (only "Rapid Delta Restore"). Where should I look? (I'm sometimes a bad reader, despite my effort)

EDIT: Or is it perhaps called "Incremental cloning" in that table?

I think if you fire that question at Macrium, you'll find out that "Rapid DELTA Anything" is not included.

If you're not a Forum member, I can pass the question along... lemme know.

I'm no forum member over there (yet?) and would appreciate it if you pass the question along. Thanks!
