    Hi

I am using Windows 7 64 Bit and I have added the 32 bit Bart PE plugin for Macrium Reflect to a Bootable WinPE CD.

From that CD I have booted up and created a Reflect Backup Image of my Windows 7 64 Bit C Drive. As far as I know this has worked OK.

Do you anticipate any problems from the restore end?

I suppose the real question is, can you use a 32 bit plugin on a 64 bit system used exclusively to backup and restore from CD.

    Thanks for your help.

    Terry

    Terry,

    Is your WinPE CD 32-bit?

For example, the Ghost 15 recovery CD is 32-bit and it works fine on 64-bit Win7. The CD uses 32-bit drivers.

you can use either one to restore from. i have restored 64bit systems from the 32 bit winpe disk from macrium. remember you are booting to the disk and simply putting a image back to the hard drive you do not need to be a 64bit environment to do that. normally it will not matter at least with macrium i know it does not as well as sp.
