Macrium Reflect free, reliable?

    Is macrium reflect free reliable backup software?

    lol, there have been a few threads in the last 2 weeks more or less regarding this same topic.

    I use it now for awhile. So do my buds. Works very well and very fast IMO. I made ramdisk boot option for BartPE and used macrium bartPE plugin without difficulty at all. Restore my OS to raid 0 drives in about 45 seconds, with about 2 minutes time to build from within XP. Placed on a secondary storage drive.

    I have used it at least 20 times to restore my XP installation from the Linux CD and it never failed me. I haven't had any corrupted images so far either. :thumb:

    Now I've got the hang of it, it works flawlessly and it's very fast.

    If you get entangled in incompetence as I initially did, the support is first class - even on weekends.

    There's a guy Merlin - very helpful.
