Low Content Thread - Aug 2013

    I've seen this done in other forums, and it's a great way to keep things tidy and easy on the users.

    The purpose of this thread is to house all the posts that won't/aren't supposed to generate much in the way of conversation, and thus don't require their own thread.

    One-off News items, privacy/tech related jokes, pictures...this sort of thing. We probably don't even need one for the "Problems" and "Technology" subthreads, as this can probably handle it.

    Obviously each post is just as welcome to have a response, and if an item does end up going off into a "thread of conversation" longer than say, 5 posts, a mod could separate it out into its own thread.

    I thought we might try it out and see how everyone likes it.
