For some reason, Thunderbird doesn't load, Firefox has trouble updating, windows doesn't update and most miserably my precious google.com.au doesn't load.:p
Just wondering if the latest build should fix these problems or should I go back to version 3 which had no such dramas at all.
Disabling the firewall and using windows firewall solves the problem but is windows firewall as good as the automatic filtering of eset's?

Do you use the latest build of ESS - 4.0.417 ?
In what mode is the firewall working ?

As for Thunderbird , this should be known problem , which is easily fixed by disabling the email client integration with it (as a temporary solution , at least). If you had no problems with v3.0 , of course you can revert back to it and wait for a while (a few more new ESS builds to appear) .

    Hello,

ESET Smart Security v4.0.424.0 fixes an issue with Mozilla Thunderbird.

Please upgrade to this release and let us know if this resolves the issue.

    Regards,

The fix for thunderbird appears to be working but google is still being blocked which is why I'm backtracking to version 3 until version 4 is stable.

The firewall in the latest build is still not working correctly.

Not worth to upgrade to that version.

Still random disconnects to some sites.

    Back to version 3 !
