Lost the "Appearance" tab!

    I loaded a virus or something and lost the Appearances Tab in the Display Settings box. Cant change the background from "Warning, your computer is infected"
    Ran PurgeIE, Spybot (checking for BHO's), Adware and Stinger, so I think I'm clean, but how do I restore the Display Settings box? I am running XP and it only affects one user (me).
