Hi there, to remove email tag notifications that are appended to your emails please complete the following:

    For Windows XP:

    1. Click on “Start”.

    2. Click on “All Programs”.

    3. Click on “ESET”.

    4. Click on either “ESET NOD32 Antivirus” or “ESET Smart Security”.

    5. Click on “ESET NOD32 Antivirus” or “ESET Smart Security”, this will open up the ESET NOD32 Antivirus or ESET Smart Security Control Center.

    6. Click on “Setup”.

    7. Click on “Enter entire advanced setup tree…” or "Toggle advanced mode".

    8. Click on “Email protection”.

    9. Choose your settings in the drop-down list of each field.

    10. Click on “OK”.

    Cheers :D

To remove NOD32 v2.7 notifications that are appended to your emails please complete the following:

    1. From the bottom right corner of your system tray (down by the time/clock), click the NOD32 icon. The 'NOD32 2.7 Control Centre window appears.

    2. Go to the following modules and choose another option for email notifications:

    EMON> Setup> Notifications

    IMON> Setup> POP3 tab> Check email confirmations.

All settings can be located within the NOD32 Tutorial located on our Official ESET Forum: https://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=37509

    Cheers :D

Recheck IMON, and then place a tick in "no notification".

What email client do you use?

Is this system on a network that checks emails before being passed to your system?

    Cheers :D

There we go, it is the server that appends the notification, and as such it would need to be turned off there.

    Cheers :D
