i have installed look'n'stop to try it out
i am a computer novice,i have disabled 'internet filtering' because i don't understand a single thing about it
i understand that rule-sets can be applied.
sometimes,i use azureus, limewire, yahoo messenger, windows live messenger etc. - are any 'ready-made' rule sets available for download,so that i can run these applications in the safest possible manner? i need ready-made rule sets because i don't understand anything about this.if ready-made rule sets are available to download, where can i download them?

as far as application filtering is concerned, two options are available-either allow or disallow.is there any way i can make look'n'stop ask me each time if i am willing to grant internet access.this would be useful because some applications need to update only once in a while,so i will only grant them permission at that time.i don't want these applications to have an 'open door' when not required

    thank you.:thumb:
