    Hi,
I have a hardware firewall (Draytek Vigor 2600) where I have closed all my ports except the ones I use like 25, 80, 119 and some more.
I use Look'n'Stop with Internet Filtering disabled, so really only for (excellent) outbound protection.
Is it of any use to enable Internet Filtering, does it give enhanced protection or can it give conflicts with the hardware firewall?

    Hey Bob

Using Software Firewall mainly for Packet Filtering usage does give you Enhanced Protection in addition to your Hardware Firewall; you won’t have any conflictions using Software Firewall as an additional Layer of Protection…

if you have a hardware firewall, Look'n'Stop will give you more information with his usefull log, i think it could be a good idea like Phant0m said ;)

    regards,

    gkweb.
