Hi, i have been browsing for a couple of programs and was somewhat unsuccessful.

The first does anyone know of a good free day planner and reminder program. I would like a small program about 100-300kb big that i can orginise my days by the hour, and can set it pop up a message to warn me for something important. Say for example my auction im bidding on in ebay is about to finish i would like something to pop up to warn me of this about 30 minutes beforehand so i can go to see if i am still the winning bidder.

Second program, does anyone know of any program or any way to have a few firefox favourite web links accessable by right clicking on the desktop. As it gets a pain clicking on the link to load firefox then going up to favourites and loading the page. The other option which i currently am doing is having shortcuts to pages on the desktop but it is getting very cluttered.

    Thanks for your help
    Anthony

forgive this incomplete answer, but find and check out "snapfiles" i don't have it bookmarked, so that's all I can say. I think I have seen something like that over there.

Hi, you can have a desktop icon that will act as a weblink.

Right click on your desktop, select new link, type or past the web address and your done, you can make custom icons or just download new ones from the web.

    Just a thought,
Do you already have M$ Outlook? or Works? Both have working calendars/reminders...

A good solution if it fits your computer lifestyle is go to your favorite site, then do the Control-T thing to make another tab go to your next 4 or 5 and then when they are all there in tabs, go to options and save them as your homepage.

I read this on the home page after ignoring it for a couple of weeks. Pretty cool, eh? 6 homepages every time you start!
