Looking for a new program to join AVIs (had it with VirtualDub)

    I've been using VirtualDub for this but half the time I get errors and it doesn't work. Does anyone know of another program that can do this without completely re-encoding. VirtualDub is fast I will give it that. The machine I'll be using it on has XP SP3 with .NET Framework 2 SP2. Paid or free is okay. Thanks.

    I tried Avidemux on a couple that VirtualDub couldn't do and it did them without any problem. It's a lot easier to use than VirtualDub and just as fast. It supports more formats than Machete. Nice suggestion. :)
