    Hi Guys,

    your my last chance. I think I going really crazy right now.

    I installed Acronis Lincenze Server, Mngt. Console & Enterprise Server 9.1 (build 3.641) and deployed the True Image Agent to a remote server in my farm.
    The service is installed and started on the remote machine.
    When I try to get a remote connection to this server I am asked for a username and password. Perfekt so far.
    But when I enter these credetials (which are in the local admin group) the window always pops up again, and does´t let me connect to my server.
    So far, I read the forum serveral times now, and it seems that nobody else has that problem.

    So please help me out...

    Regards

    hi there,
    i do have the same problems. I got two w2k servers and two linux servers, any remote connection fails. Besides one to the w2k server, if I am choosing to backup particular files/folders (not all harddrives at once), so at least i can choose something (well, the login window is bugging me regularly). When it comes to the backup execution, nothing happens.

    Tried to reinstall everything, but it wont help. Tomorrow I will try to reinstall everythin g on a complete new system.

    so far, bad experience :thumbd:

    Hello Brainy and kevind01,

    Thank you for choosing Acronis Remote Server Backup Software.

    We are very sorry for the delay with the response.

    First of all, please try entering user name in the form of [computer name]\[user name].

    Please also note that, as it is pointed out in sections 2.3.1 and 4.3.1 of Acronis True Image 9.1 Enterprise Server for Windows User's Guide, in order to connect to the remote computer and perform any backup operations the user must be a member of the Backup Operators and Power Users or Administrators groups. You can edit particular user permissions by following: Start -> Settings -> Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Computer Management -> Local Users and Groups -> Users -> Right click on the User Name -> Properties.

    If the above does not help then please also make sure that Windows Firewall is configured in accordance with section 2.3.2 of the above mentioned User's Guide.

    If that does not help either then please provide us with the following information:

    - Create Windows System Information as it is described in Acronis Help Post for both computer where Acronis Agent is installed and computer where Acronis Management Console is running;

    - Rename the files collected to sysinfo_agent.NFO and sysinfo_console.NFO accordingly;

    - Describe your network structure in more details.

    Then please submit a request for technical support. Provide the files and information collected in your request along with the step-by-step description of the actions taken before the problem appears and the link to this thread. We will investigate the problem and try to provide you with the most suitable solution as soon as possible.

    Thank you.
