Just downloaded this fascinating firewall (my first) - the log is amazing - if I could figure out what it all means (is there a simple explanation?).

I appear to be getting pinged every 6 seconds on average - I have accepted the default rules - does this mean that I am blocking something each time?

I am on cable with NTL (if that is important)

    Hey Singleton

On Installation of Look ‘n’ Stop, Look ‘n’ Stop uses StandardRulesSet.rls by Default.
First thing you want to-do is “Load” up EnhancedRulesSet.rls file by going into Look ‘n’ Stop’s Internet Filtering screen and clicking “Load…” button and selecting that file located in the Default location and clicking “Open” button.

To understand for the most part the rules in that rule-set view http://www.wilderssecurity.info/pg17.shtml

In Reference to Raw_Log files take a gander at http://www.wilderssecurity.info/pg9.shtml

In Addition; whatever you don’t quite understand for loggings into Look ‘n’ Stop “Log” screen, try double clicking on the Packet line to bring up "Packet's content" Window. This should help you quite a bit… ;)
