Log Date

    This may have been asked about or mentioned before....but if not....am I understanding RegDefends Log file naming wrongly :doubt:

    Bubba,
    I am seeing one logfile per month here ( 2005_05_May and 2005_06_June ) so based on that I would say that the naming is ok

    It does mean that it takes a little while to load in *all* of last months events and a day's or a weeks worth of events might be better

    If that is the case....what is still confusing is the fact it's showing the 6th day of June....which was the wrong date for sure.

    If it is however the way you feel it is....then it's saying the 6th month of June :doubt:


    Similar to 2005_05_May . If 05 is representative of May....then why put May and the numbers 05 also in the name of the file....it's redundant :doubt:

    Not really as it is a way to make sure the months are contigious in the list.
    Having 2005_06_01, 2005_07_01 would be an alternative but confuse you Americans :) So I suppose 2005_06 etc without the day might be a good alternative.

    I agree with you Pilli, Im confused too. :D

    But I think your workaround would be quite nice. :cool:
