Someone else I know using McAfee plus and Site Advisor has the exact
same problem sasservice using 100percent of the cpu so could be some
weird conflict between those two programs.

Try to disable Site Advisor, to do that go control panel, administrative
tools, services, find Site Advisor service, click on properties, and change
it from automatic to disabled, and reboot.

    Hi Fly,

Your welcome, based on my own experience with SA
this program does not need to run as a auto start, it can be
removed from msconfig, and disabled in services and yet it
    still runs fine.

Was looking at castlecops website today and here are two
more people using Mcafee and experiencing same problems
    you describe with Site Advisor.
