    and nothing is happening.

Hello everyone, I am new here. Took me many trials and errors to find this forum.

Anyway, here is my problem: I downloaded the ACRONIS Disk Director Suite 10 Trial to check it out, installed it, and then shut the computer down for the night without doing anything with "Acronis" at all. Next morning I turn the computer on and all I get is a "Loading, please wait" message.

Well, I waited. And waited some more, and then some more... Nothing is happening.

The WINDOWS XP bootable CD won't let me do anything, either, just says "no harddrives found" when starting. XP Repair Console same thing.

    F6 & F11 keys are non-responsive as well.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

Thanks, and a Merry Christmas to all of you.

On my older Dell machine the bios button for the boot menu is F11 but it often fails to access the bios. I finally hit pay dirt by pressing on the Ctrl button. You could try by trial- and- error different buttons and maybe you will get lucky enough to get into your bios. Good Luck. If this does not work try Teck support on the Acronis site.

p.s. Go to "Acronis.com/ enterprise/support/ " for DD10 E-Mail support (the link is further down the page).

    anyone solved this problem?

    i'm having it too.
when booting acronis bootloader starts and the message box says
"processing, please wait" and after 30 minutes nothing has happened.
even when no other os than xp are installed.
i installed xp, partitioned the hdd and installed os selector. while rebooting it's stuck at the "processing" message.

    is it a laptop problem?
could'nt find many people with the same problem.

    thx in advance

If you can get back into Windows(f6) start os loader and goto tools- options-startup and put a checkmark beside Do Not Load CD-ROM Drivers--
    I just had same problem

Could you be a bit more specific about where this checkbox for "Do Not Load CD-ROM Drivers" is? I don't see anything like that in the Windows Start Menu.

The Do No Load CD-ROM Drivers option is part of the Acronis OS Selector program (OSS). Selecting this makes it not look for cd/dvd drives when booting and can speed up the boot process or even allow the program to boot to the menu by bypassing drives that aren't detected correctly..
