Whilst doing some selective startup tests to find the cause of an Explorer boot error (turned out to be ZA 5.1... sorted now) I discovered something interesting regarding the 2 Load Power Profile enties listed in there.

If I disable them both, and then operate my computer as normal, I still get the display monitor going to sleep after the pre-determined time interval.

So what is the purpose of these 2 LPP entries in startups if they don't seem to do much... am I right in thinking that I can completely disable and remove them with no ill effects to my computer operations.

Also... I have the settings for my hard drives to never turn them off... is this a good idea or should I set a turn off time for them.
