I'm a noob to LnS... Tiny wasn't really working put [no prompts for anything... pathetic learning mode that learns but never asks questions]

    So here I am...
LnS wouldn't prompt for ANY applications [WinXP SP1, LnS 2.05p2]
It won't detect any new traffic or ask a rule for it.
And now [I tried uninstall/reinstall] it WILL NOT let me access the net... neither thru Proxo, nor direct.
    WHY.. Oh Why?
    Any help?

It may be related to your trialing a number of firewalls recently.

I have found LookNStop very sensitive to previous firewalls and also to its own install/uninstall cycles. In my experience, LNS is a lot more unstable compared to other firewalls, on a 'dirty' system that has several other firewalls installed/uninstalled.

On this computer, I uninstalled LNS to try some other firewalls, and I cannot get LNS to function properly again, with exactly the same results as you are now seeing. I am using another firewall now until I make the time to wipe clean and then restore from backup to a clean system again and then install LookNStop again!

One suggestion would be to try and ensure you have removed all the debris from your previous firewall installs and then try LookNStop again. If you have managed this and still no luck have you tried the Registry Patch for application filtering; http://www.looknstop.com/En/faq_problems.htm#not_working

I look forward to someone solving our problem.

    Thx. Blackcat
Problem fixed by itself [don't ask me how... it's weird]
But if there is any other info on this issue, let us post it here for any lost user who comes accross this board?

Please, please tell me :'( :'(
Did you install/uninstall a number of times; reboot several times or did LNS simply start working?

Anyway, glad to hear you are up and running ;)
