    Hi!
I'm trying to use active mode in DC++.
I've downloaded the rule, but its not working?
LNS is installed on one machine thats connected to Internet. My machine is connected by ICS. I can't use active mode and I think I need to make a port forward perhaps? Have read about it in anothers forum, but it wont be listed a guide with LNS. :doubt:

I´m not sure this will help you since you are connected through ICS. But I had the same problem (i think) When checked, in DC++, active I couldn´t do any searches or look at other users files. When I went to passive mode everything worked okay. Then I cleared the IP-number and ports in DC++ (besides the active checkmark) and enabled active mode - voila! all of a sudden I can do searches (fast) and browse other users files. Hope I understood you right and that it helps :)

    Look at attachment.
