Live update help needed on Spyware Guard & Spyware Blaster

Hi, I wonder if you folk on the forum can help me. I can't seen to update Spyware guard or Spyware Blaster - I get a message referring to a possible firewall conflict, or possible corruption of live update.

As background, I'm using the standard XP firewall. I've tried disabling it, & re-booting, but still no joy.

I tried AdNuker pop up blocker for a couple of weeks, but now have the Google pop-up stopper Toolbar installed. When I had Adnuker, if I had 'block banners' on, I couldn't live update SG Guard/Blaster, but with 'Banners on', I could liveupdate both. Since installing Google, I can't live update. There's nothing wrong with the software as far as I can see, but something is stopping the Liveupdater 'getting through'.

Can anyone help me resolve this problem please? Thanks
