Recently there has been a blue ball that sometimes appears in my computer's system tray at the left of Prevx's "eye" icon. The blue ball animates for just a second or 2 then disappears. Is this a Prevx thingee (I hope)?

I knew I would get kidded about this, but I really am serious. If the blue ball isn't Prevx's then I have a computer weirdness attack.

Please -- someone -- is it Prevx's ball?

No to both your posts. But thanks for trying.

I am now running Process Monitor (PM). If the blue ball appears again, PM should spot the cause.

    What OS are you running?

In windows seven, I think you could presse arrow in tray and press customize, there you can see you all past tray icons and names to them.

And if you can take screenshot when it appears again.

Process Monitor identified the culprit - Click & Clean -- a Chrome extension that I recently added. C&C spins a little blue ball in the systray when I exit Chrome & C&C does its clean-up job.
