It depends on how you define slimmest system. Number of apps installed? Disk space used? Running processes? Memory and/or processor usage?
That won't show many free standing applications. I'd estimate that half of the software I use isn't installed. They're unzip and go.

    Yep.

It shouldn't be all that high actually, but I keep the games and ROMs in my system partition too, which increases the space usage over time. Making it bigger than it should've been. Windows updates also contribute pretty considerably, but it's something I can't deny.

Aside from Windows' own processes (which I have disabled some of them already :isay:) + some important driver services, on idle only Macrium's service is running 24/7. I might be disabling it as well if it's not all that important.

On idle CPU usage usually never goes higher than ~5%, RAM stays on ~18%.

Slimmest computer in 2014 confirmed. :isay::D

Maybe not. Mine has 16 processes at the moment, which includes Tor. Regarding services, I don't have any of those. I also keep my system, data, and VPC images on separate partitions. The OS and software combined are using 1.25GB, not including VPC images. If the count is applications, installed or unzipped, I'll definitely lose there. All told, there's somewhere around 120 total applications on my system, many of which are freestanding executables with a few supporting files. RAM and processor usage varies widely, depending primarily on the Tor traffic at the time. At this moment, its RAM load is heavy. Without Tor, processor usage at idle is under 5%. RAM usage less than 120MB.

All of them! Actually, you can choose, but preferably main one.

Comparing systems is kinda fun. It does show what a wide range of setups we have here. Making a complete list does border on a chore when you use a lot of free standing apps. Ranks up there with cleaning off my desktop. Needs a virtual front end loader. OTOH it can be like a card game. There's some cards that I won't put on the table until I need to. Looking back at my own list. I can think of several that I forgot.
    Splinterware system scheduler
    Launchkey
    Dia
    Speed Medic RamDrive
    ATS
    Sam Spade
    µTorrent
    Install monitors
    WinHTTrack

Are we counting unofficial OS upgrades like KernelEx, Revolutions Pack, and NUSB?
    Are we counting batch files?

Interesting reading! There is a few applications I never heard of and had to Google them to see what they do :D

I won't list all my applications because the most of them have been already listed. I'll state only those which either have not been mentioned yet (provided that I didn't overlook them ;) ) or I think are worth to let you know about them.

    - Bullzip PDF Printer
    - Ashampoo Burning Studio Free
    - Paragon Backup & Recovery 2014 Free
    - Viber for desktops
    - Client for Google Translate

I've finally settled with Misao (horror adventure game), thanks to a good friend of mine. He has a bunch of these kind of games from VGPerson, and I chose this one for now.

Not really, it actually shows, what software are people using. Some great pointers there.
Like people installing LAN drivers, it uses pointless service, better to install just a driver.
I fixed my errors accordingly. Removed some things, I do not really need. Results:
