And this is when I switch to xfce again.

Why does everyone have to ruin a good thing? I mean first Unity, than KDE 4.7 and now Gnome 3. Everyone is switching to these flashy and annoying DE's.

I mean KDE is nice on a fast machine but I prefer xfce over these recent "updates".

    sorry for the /rant :D

i didnt use new gnome but unity is not that bad its new its strange just like what we feel when kde 4 comes but now people kinda like new kde so i guess give it little more time its good to go with compability of ubuntu

so develpors can tweak and bug free problems instead of making new pakages

linux mint 11 due to uncompability with ubuntu 11.04 get more problems and bugs

i guess developers have no option but to follow ubuntu or start making their own fork which is undependent of ubuntu for updates.

also if you like gnome very much like me you can choose debian addition as well

the main core issue is stability as long system is stable and i can do all basic desktop stuff i dont have problem with unity/gnome 3 and kde or others........
