We created a backup of our linux server (contains also LVM volumes) but after restore on a different server it's not able to mount the LVM. It fails with the error "Couldn't find device with uuid ..." and "Couldn't find all physical volumes for volume group ...". I think this is because the original disks are not available.

    Any ideas?

    Hello FIT4IT,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Remote Server Backup Software.

Could you please clarify, what version and build of Acronis True Image Enterprise Server are you using? You can find the full version name and build number by going to Help -> About... menu in the main program window.

Could you please also provide us with contents of

    /etc/fstab

and GRUB configuration located at /boot/grub/menu.lst or /boot/grub/grub.conf

Please also clarify if you're restoring logical or physical volume(s).

    Thank you.
